How inputs and shared information are used in Daily Fortune.
Calculation and memory
Your fortune is calculated in your browser using the current date on your device. Your name, date of birth, draft and open result stay in app memory and are not stored as account data. Reloading or closing the tab clears that memory. Only your display theme is saved in localStorage on your device.
Result URLs and sharing
Your name and date of birth appear in the result URL and are validated by the server. They may appear in browser history or normal hosting request information. Anyone with a shared link can see those inputs. Opening a link calculates a fortune for the day of the visit, rather than saving a fixed daily result. A sharing app you choose processes the link under its own policy.
Sending feedback
If you send feedback, your name or nickname, message and current page URL are sent through /api/send-message to the operator via Telegram. Sending feedback from a result page also sends the name and date of birth in that URL. Feedback may be retained as long as needed to handle the request and protect the service.
Analytics and advertising
Production visits are measured with our self-hosted Plausible instance. Names, birthdates, answers, URL queries and fragments are excluded; referrers contain only their origin. Analytics use no cookies. Request processing may use IP addresses and browser information. Allowed feature events exclude names, dates of birth, scores, result titles and personal query parameters. Google ads may appear only on content home pages. When enabled, Google and advertising partners may process information through external requests, cookies or similar technologies. Input, result and privacy pages do not show ads. Cookie and consent settings depend on actual operating conditions.
External services and contact
Hosting may process normal connection information, such as IP addresses, to serve pages. External advertising and sharing services you choose follow their own privacy policies. Use the feedback feature for privacy questions. Changes will be reflected on this page.
